Monsanto drops GM in Europe: Region abandoned owing to stalled approval process.
Nature
reports that agri-giant Monsanto has abandoned its plans to get
approval for its GM crops in Europe. There is no doubt that this is a
major triumph for anti-GM campaigners, including many in the
permaculture community.
